Viettel sets up edu-network for HCM City

VietNamNet Bridge - The Army Telecom Corporation (Viettel) and the HCM City authorities on Monday started setting up Internet connection to schools in the city.

VietNamNet Bridge - The Army Telecom Corporation (Viettel) and the HCM City authorities on Monday started setting up Internet connection to schools in the city.

 

Viettel will provide broadband Internet connection to the education sector in HCM City, including connection from the HCM City Department of Education and Training to universities, colleges, and all general schools located in the city.

 

The corporation will also assist the local education sector to build up infrastructural facilities serving teaching, research, and management activities.

 

This is part of a national project worth VND153 billion (US$9 million), including VND15 billion (US$882,000) for HCM City.
