VietNamNet Bridge - The ninth Conference and Exhibition on Application and Development of Information and Telecommunication Technology in Banking Sector, Banking Vietnam 2008, opened on December 2 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Banking Vietnam 2008 is organised under the theme developing retail banking services and operations of Vietnamese commercial banks.

Thirty two speakers at the conference include financial, banking, ICT experts from America, Europe, Asia and Vietnam.

Thirty six domestic and foreign financial, banking and ICT institutions participated in the exhibition, introducing banking products and services as well as IT solutions for the banking sector.

The event drew over 1,100 visitors in its inauguration day.
