First educational materials exhibition opens

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Vinh Hien said that the educational sector’s top priority is to improve the quality of education and training through a review of teaching methods, in addition to the upgrading of curriculums, textbooks and educational materials.
The exhibition offers an opportunity for educational administrators and teachers to access the world’s latest educational products and technologies, he added.
During the event, many forums on education and training will be held, with the participation of world-renowned educators such as Manfred Kremer, President of the German Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training, Prof. Tan Thiam Soon, Director of the National University of Singapore, and the President of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Prof. Said Irandoust.
