Vietsovpetro fulfils 2008 target one month ahead of schedule

VietNamNet BridgeAs of 1pm December 2, Vietsovpetro has exploited 7.1 million  tonnes of crude oil, successfully fulfilled its target set for 2008, one month ahead of schedule, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group has announced in a press release.

As of November 30, Vietsovpetrol’s total crude oil revenue hit over US$6 billion, equivalent to 182.6% of the 2008 revenue target and contributed US$4 billion to the State budget.

VietNamNet Bridge – As of 1pm December 2, Vietsovpetro has exploited 7.1 million  tonnes of crude oil, successfully fulfilled its target set for 2008, one month ahead of schedule, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group has announced in a press release.

Tran Le Dong, Vietsopetro General Director said the firm targets to exploit 600,000 tonnes of crude oil for the remaining days of the year and fulfill other basic business targets which have been set for 2008.

As of November 30, Vietsovpetrol’s total crude oil revenue hit over US$6 billion, equivalent to 182.6% of the 2008 revenue target and contributed US$4 billion to the State budget, or 203.6% of the targeted figure.

Right in July, Vietsovpetro announced it fulfilled its revenue and State budget contribution targets for the whole year of 2008.
