LookAtVietnam – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan has discussed with French Ambassador to Vietnam Herve Bolot a number of issues on how to accelerate the establishment of the Hanoi University of Technology.

Vietnam will co-ordinate with the Asian Development Bank to borrow US$100 million to carry out the project this year.
The Deputy PM also asked the French Government to build a detailed agreement between the two governments under which France will provide 100 million euros to help Vietnam build this university.
He said both sides should finalise all procedures concerning the university’s operational regulations and the establishment of a university council by the end of this year.
For his part, the French Ambassador said France will ask one of its business to join the project and assist Vietnam to train high-quality human resources in the years to come.
