Actress Hong Anh leaves for overseas study

Award-winning actress Hong Anh says she has made up her mind to take an acting course in Singapore, just a few months after getting married.

“I have studied English and left everything behind to go to Singapore for one year,” said Anh, who will also take a break from her long-time co-hosting job on VTC 9 channel’s Dem cua sao (The star’s night) with actor Chi Bao.

The actress said her husband, critic-cum-CEO of communications company T&A, Thanh Son, supported her decision.

Last December, Anh scooped  the Best Actress award at the Dubai International Film Festival 2008 for her performance in Trang noi day gieng (Moon at the bottom of the well), directed by acclaimed filmmaker Nguyen Vinh Son.
