Pink lotus in body art

LookAtVietnam – The pure beauty of pink lotus – Vietnam’s national flower – is depicted through body paintings by Tran Lam Binh and Hoang Manh Cuong.

The body-art artist Lam Binh and photographer Manh Cuong create full art works by combining real lotuses and lotuses painted on the body of a model.

The work was made at Lavender studio.

Tran Lam Binh was born in 1982. He graduated from the Hue Fine-art University and is now the university’s lecturer. He is studying at the Hanoi Fine-art University to get a master degree. Son has joined many exhibitions in Vietnam. His personal exhibition of lacquer is highly praised by artists.

Photographer Hoang Manh Cuong is an employee of the Hanoi Television Station. He has organized several exhibitions to raise fund for the poor and Agent Orange victims.
