The travel company Vitours will welcome 32 Australian visitors on a two-week
trans-Vietnam tour and the Vietravel company will welcome nearly 50 Chinese and
Japanese tourists during the first days of Lunar New Year.

Tran Van Long, Director of Vitours said the company leaders will welcome the
visitors at the airport and present them with lucky money.
They will be introduced to Vietnamese Tet customs and enjoy the traditional
dishes served during the holidays.
On the first day of New Year, Saigontourist will receive more than 50 foreign
visitors from France and Belgium who will tour Chau Doc, Sadec, Vinh Long, My
Tho, Ho Chi Minh City and Cu Chi.
The SuperStar Aquarius, with more than 2,000 passengers and crew on board ,will
also dock at Da Nang port on the same day.
Two planes carrying 251 passengers from the Russia Far East landed at Cam Ranh
airport in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa on January 23 – the first
day of the lunar New Year festival.
These passengers come from nine provinces of the
Far Eastern regions who have booked a tour of Khanh Hoa since October 31, 2011.
The tour has so far attracted nearly 17,000 visitors from the Far Eastern
regions.
The first three Russia visitors were offered free
tourism services at major destinations in Khanh Hoa’s Nha Trang City.
The province received nearly 2.2 million
holiday-makers, including 440,000 foreigners, in 2011 and it strives to raise
the number of foreign arrivals to 500,000 in 2012.
A representative of Anh Duong company which has
developed this tour says at present there are 10 such flights to Vietnam every
week.
