12 more products listed as melamine-infected products

VietNamNet Bridge – The Ministry of Health’s Food Safety and Hygiene Agency Wednesday released the list of four more products containing the toxic chemical melamine. The HCM City Department of Health also announced eight types of Malaysian-origin biscuits containing melamine.

So far, 29 food products with melamine have been detected.

VietNamNet Bridge – The Ministry of Health’s Food Safety and Hygiene Agency Wednesday released the list of four more products containing the toxic chemical melamine. The HCM City Department of Health also announced eight types of Malaysian-origin biscuits containing melamine.

 

According to the Food Safety and Hygiene Agency, Australian powder milk for children from the ages of 1-10 years old, branded Gold imported by Mai Anh Food Processing Co., Ltd in HCM City and three kinds of biscuits, branded Lexus, contain melamine.

 

Hoang Phuc Huy Trade and Service Company in HCM City also reported to the local Department of Health that eight kinds of biscuits it imports from Malaysia have melamine, namely Cheese Lexus, Peanut Lexus, Chocolate Lexus, Cream Cracker, Sugar Cracker, Vegetable Cracker, Chocolate Romeo Free and Coffee Romeo Free.

 

These products are produced by Munchy Food Industries in Malaysia and imported by Hoang Huy Phuc Company.

 

These products are being removed from all stores in HCM City.

 

So far, 29 food products with melamine have been detected.
