LookAtVietnam Bridge - SHB Da Nang beat Binh Dinh 2-1 in group A of the National U-17 Football Tournament, which began on Thursday in the central city of Da Nang.
The match was played at a frantic pace with both sides going on the offensive.
The battle was fiercest in the midfield as both teams have strong half-backs. But it was Da Nang’s better discipline and organisation that dictated the course of the game.
That said, the visitors could have scored in the fourth minute from a corner kick by Ti Ni, but the ball shaved the crossbar.
In the 36th minute, the hosts came close to scoring, but the visitors’ defence thwarted the attack, and the score remained 0-0 at the break.
Early in the second half, Ti Ni broke the deadlock to make it 1-0 to the visitors. But the home team rallied, and in the 61st minute Da Nang’s Anh Khoa levelled the score.
Twelve minutes later, striker Anh Tuan, co-ordinating well with Thai Quang, scored the winner for the hosts.
Meanwhile, also on Thursday, Dam Phu My Nam Dinh defeated Binh Phuoc 4-0, and now top group A.
Competing this year are Song Lam Nghe An, SHB Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Binh Phuoc, Dam Phu My Nam Dinh, Sanest Binh Phuoc, Becamex Binh Duong and Hai Phong.
